Tasted at the Ottoman restaurant in Canberra. The Aux Combottes 2002 has very fine delineation on the nose with tart red cherries, pomegranate and a touch of freshly tilled earth. The palate is medium-bodied with a sharp thread of citric acidity. An ebullient wine but there is just a touch of volatility marring the finish. I would leave this another 1-2 years. Tasted November 2011.
