Tasted at the Domaine. Naturally the vines are still young after being replacing the Pinot Noir that used to form Leflaive’s Blagny. Now at 14-years of age, the offer a reserved, stony nose with touches of apple-blossom and lime. Lots of energy here – zippy! The palate has a tart green entry, good nervosite, not complex but with a delicate white peach element towards the pretty finish. Bodes well for the future. Drink now-2018. Tasted January 2009.
