The 1947 Musigny Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru continues to drink beautifully, though since this was our last bottle, I don't know if or when I will ever encounter it again. Wafting from the glass with aromas of dried griotte cherries, Indian spices, musk and vine smoke, it's medium to full-bodied, supple and sensual, with an ample core of sweet, sun-kissed fruit, lively acids and an unerring sense of harmony. This is one of the great vintages produced by Georges Roumier in this estate's heyday. (William Kelley, The Wine advocate 4th May 2023, 100 Pts)
