In 1998, Maison Louis Jadot purchased its Montrachet from two growers, producing a total of eight barrels (200 cases). Its acacia, spice, stone, and mineral nose gives way to a lively, broad-shouldered, medium to full-bodied personality. This magnificent wine offers layers and layers of white ripe fruits, hints of toasted nuts, gravel, and poached pears. It wonderfully unites muscle with grace, and explosive, expressive fruit with refinement. Projected maturity: 2005-2012+. (Pierre Rovani, The Wine Advocate, 21st Apr 2000, 91-94 Pts)
