The 2014 Gevrey-Chambertin Village has quite a plush, what you might call fluffy bouquet with kirsch and strawberry, a little too much "warmth" for my liking. The palate is fleshy and ripe, quite forward with sweet red cherry fruit, though it is missing a bit of substance and grip on the finish. Not bad, but I would not cellar it for too long.
